The CTL12 is the first member of the new smartCFL® product family, developed to simplify the sheath testing and cable fault location process. Combining DC testing with accurate fault pre-location and fault pinpointing, the CTL12 provides an efficient all-in-one solution for modern power cable networks.

Designed for field use, the CTL12 combines proven bridge fault location methods with modern hardware and an intuitive user interface to deliver fast and reliable results. Its compact, lightweight design, integrated rechargeable battery and rugged IP67 housing make it easy to transport and ideal for operation at remote measurement locations.

Together with the optional CPD1 Cable Pinpointing Device, the CTL12 supports a complete workflow from cable sheath testing and fault pre-location to precise fault pinpointing. Smart operation, integrated safety features and minimal setup effort help utilities, service providers and industrial users locate cable faults efficiently while reducing outage times.
