VLF high voltage test sets of the HVA series from b2 electronics are the most advanced VLF AC/DC hipot test equipment of its kind available. They perform voltage withstand tests on MV and HV cables at frequencies from 0.01 Hz to 0.1 Hz and incorporate the lightest and the most compact VLF test sets of their kind.

 

b2 electronics offers the widest range of VLF test sets on the market, starting with the compact devices weighing only 14 kg / 31 lbs and a maximum output voltage of 21 kVrms / 29 kVpeak (HVA28) up to a van or trailer mounted device with 85 kVrms / 120 kVpeak (HVA120).

Unlimited operating time

HVA test sets are designed for continuous operation without any thermal limitations.

 

Dry system (up to 120 kV)

HVA test sets are constructed with non- arcing contacts and no need to change oil. This eliminates routine servicing and makes the test sets almost maintenance-free.
